Kent Mount Carriages is a small family run business and has been operating in the Southern area for many years. We pride ourselves in looking after your special day. Making sure everything runs smoothly on the day.
Before booking your wedding, we will check the route by car to make sure there are no complications e.g. Steep hills, Motorways, Distance etc. For local weddings we are confident enough to confirm straight away. We will find the best and safest route to the church and the reception so people can view yourselves and the carriage. You will then be asked for a small deposit accompanying the booking form.
Kent Mount Carriages will supply the ribbons for your day, any colour you wish, and if you change your mind about ribbons, reception venue etc this is not a problem providing you let us know well beforehand, so that we can check the distance and route again.
Sixteen weeks before your wedding we will telephone you to make sure everything is ok, the balance will be asked for at this stage. One week before the wedding we will check the route again to make sure there are no roadwork’s etc that may obstruct the route. We will let you know what time we will be arriving at your home and what time will be best to leave, arriving at the church early or on time, whatever you wish. We usually allow 45 minutes for photographs on a nice day (although this can be flexible when asked).
We have been trading for many years and have received many thank you letters and as of yet we have not had any complaints what so ever. We feel this is because we double-check everything and the Horse and Carriage will arrive spotlessly clean for your Special Day.
The person that you talk to on booking your wedding, will be the person that will drive your carriage on your wedding day. This we feel is important to the smooth running of your special day.
